We commissioned an independent review of the funded disability services at Yooralla to provide assurance that Yooralla's clients are receiving quality services that keep them safe, are focussed on their needs and wishes and are appropriately managed.

The review was undertaken by KPMG  as part of the department’s agency monitoring framework, and as a result of issues regarding the safety and well-being of clients which had come to the department’s attention.

It found that Yooralla has systems and processes that are designed to ensure the delivery of quality and safe services for its clients. It also found that Yooralla is being appropriately managed by its Board and management and is developing a culture that increasingly makes clients the centre of service provision.
