We are reviewing how public health care services are provided in Mildura and surrounding areas.
Public health services at Mildura Base Hospital have been provided by a private company, in an arrangement with the State Government since 1998.
As the contract is approaching the end of its current term, we are looking to learn more about the needs and opinions of the local community.
The review process will look at a range of areas including:
- Current health needs
- Projected future health requirements
- Current health care standards
- Feedback from health professionals and opinions from the community.
Consultation with the community will run over the next two months.

Community consultations sessions will be conducted between October and December, and details will be announced separately in local media and on the Engage Victoria website
