Victoria was notified of 11 new cases of coronavirus yesterday.

All are locally acquired cases linked to the current outbreak.

There were three COVID-19 cases in hospital in Victoria yesterday.

There are 94 active cases in Victoria, 81 are locally acquired.

The total number of confirmed cases in Victoria since the beginning of the pandemic is 20,646.

Update: Current restrictions

Victoria's restrictions remain in place in metropolitan Melbourne and have been eased in regional Victoria.

Update: Outbreaks

All 11 are linked to current outbreaks.

Three cases are household contacts of existing cases in the City of Whittlesea outbreak.

Three are linked to Arcare Maidstone.

Four are household contacts of cases linked to the West Melbourne outbreak.

One is linked to the Port Melbourne outbreak.

As of this morning, 81 active individual cases are linked to the outbreaks, with a further two who have recovered.

When including four overlapping cases, 32 total cases are linked to the City of Whittlesea outbreak, 31 to Port Melbourne, 9 to Arcare Maidstone and 14 to West Melbourne.

Contact tracers continue to focus on a number of areas of concern, including the Queen St construction site –with confirmed transmission between a positive case and another worker at that site.

There are currently 492 identified Primary Close Contacts linked to that site.

Over 400 have to date returned a negative test.

Household engagement teams supported by Defence personnel continue to visit thousands of people a week to ensure they are following public health advice to quarantine.

This includes 514 visits yesterday.

Public exposure sites are published at Exposure sites.

The Department also manages a number of exposure sites which it doesn’t publish online, particularly if these sites represent lower-risk exposures, or if they have comprehensive record keeping and contact tracing measures in place, or if they identify small, private locations.&

Exposure sites are regularly reviewed based on intelligence and evidence, following case interviews.

Update: Vaccinations

Yesterday in Victoria 17,719 COVID-19 vaccine doses administered by state-commissioned services.

This brings the total number of vaccine doses administered at state-commissioned services to 650,878.

Forty per cent of all COVID-19 vaccinations in Australia in the past week were administered in Victoria.

Victoria’s five-day vaccination blitz of aged care and disability care workers has been extended until today to ensure as many of these workers as possible get priority access the COVID-19 vaccine.

From Wednesday, a vaccination blitz will start for Ambulance Victoria staff, with paramedics, non-emergency patient transport workers and staff offered priority walk-up access.

It will run for five days until Sunday 13 June.

Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms, or who is a primary close contact, must not attend a vaccination centre.

Go to a testing centre, get a test, and go home until you receive your result.

General advice

Coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms include fever, sore throat, cough, shortness of breath and loss or change in sense of smell or taste. If you are experiencing symptoms, wear a fitted face mask when you get tested.

There are currently 212 testing facilities across Victoria providing safe testing to all Victorians.
